On one hand, I was never supposed to be here.

I should still be in New York, spending my weekdays working a 9-5 job, and my weekends doing everything I can to forget the grim reality of my weekdays.

On the other hand, I was always meant to end up here.

I was an extremely talented runner as a child, but because of a lack of representation, support, and maturity, I never dared to dream about running as anything more than a hobby. Throughout life, countless forces pushed me away from this path, but in the summer of 2021 I stumbled back across the running community, and decided to give everything I had to chase something I never even had the opportunity to dream about.

This journey has taken me from Brooklyn, NY to Flagstaff, AZ, and now to Boulder, CO where I’m currently training for the 2028 Olympic cycle in the marathon.
